Dave Macaulay is an award-winning writer and journalist specializing in architecture, sustainability and community development for more than 25 years. In addition to co-authoring The Ecological Engineer, he has served as editor of three construction industry magazines. Currently, he’s working on two new books about sustainable architecture. Since participating in a post-Katrina charrette in New Orleans, he has worked to directly assist Lower Ninth Ward residents in their recovery and rebuilding efforts. Dave’s active involvement includes numerous multimedia presentations on the Holy Cross Neighborhood around the U.S. and establishing the Help Holy Cross Web site, www.helpholycross.org.
